A propagandist loyal to Lukashenko, his past is a big black mark

The 36-year-old, who works for the Belarusian state broadcaster producing propaganda reports and films, is best known in Lithuania for the case of M. Danieliaus, a woman on trial for espionage who is expected to go on trial at the end of September.

Law enforcement suspects that K. Lebedeva asked M. Daniel to collect information of interest to the Belarusian KGB about VšĮ “Mūsų namai”, the support fund “Dapamoga”, the organization of former officers of the Belarusian troops BYPOL and the charity fund Bysol” – employees of these organizations, ongoing projects, sources of funding.

She is known as one of Lukashenko’s most famous propagandists. Last year, due to her activities, the woman was included in the EU sanctions list, and K. Lebedeva raised a glass of champagne in response.

However, there is one story that she is not proud of at all. BYPOL has publicly stated that it all happened between 2009 and 2010.
