Latvian racer Juris Apinis, competing in the Superstock 600 class, died in an accident during a practice day at the Pärnu circuit on Saturday.
Police are investigating the circumstances. The Estonian Motorcycle Sports Federation will not make any additional comments until the process is concluded.
The Estonian and Baltic Championships scheduled for this weekend will be cancelled.
The Estonian Motorcycle Sports Federation expresses its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
