Two motorboats collided off the coast of Mont-Dore on Sunday morning. One of the two fishermen fell into the sea and was taken to Médipole.
The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. Sunday near Mont-Dore. A boat was fishing between Bailey Island and Poker Epic Island when another motorboat headed straight for it.
According to the first element of the investigation, this was an accident. The boater would not have seen the boat, with his children sitting at the bow.
One of the two fishermen on the boat fell into the water when the collision occurred. He felt back pain and was taken to the emergency room.
