According to ISU Bucharest Ilfov, the fire broke out in a warehouse in Afmazi. Firefighters said the fire had open flames and smoke covering an area of 500 square meters and had the potential to spread.
Initially, 10 water and foam fire fighting vehicles, one aerial intervention rescue vehicle, one recovery vehicle and one SABIF ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
As the fire threatened to spread to the surrounding halls, eight more fire engines equipped with water and foam were dispatched to the mission area.
Firefighters announced there were no casualties.
