According to a press release from IPJ Timiş, a 33-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment in Timişoara on Friday evening, and relatives of the victim alerted the police.

Police in Timisoara’s third district received an alert that a woman was found dead in her home in Calea Şagului in the city. Police found at the scene that it was a 33-year-old woman who was found dead in the bathroom.

Judicial sources told Agrapres that the woman lived alone and suffered from depression and other problems and had been hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital. The victim was found hanged.

The police opened an investigation for manslaughter.
