Uzbek boxer Bahadir Dzhalov confidently defeated his German opponent and made it to the final of the Paris Olympics. He is the fourth Uzbek boxer to compete for a “gold medal” at the Olympics.
According to the results of the competition held on August 8, Uzbekistan national team boxer Bahadir Dzhalov entered the final of the Paris Olympics.
In the semi-finals of the over-92kg weight category, 2020 world champion and Olympic champion Bahadir Djalolov faced off against 2022 European champion and 2023 World Championships bronze medalist, Cameroonian-German boxer Nervi Tiafak.
With his long arms and tall stature, Yarolov controlled the distance with his right hand and shot accurately. The Uzbek player won all three games with a score of 5-0.
In the final, he will compete against the winner of Djamili-Dini Abdou (France) and Ayoub Ghadfa (Spain). The gold medal match will take place on August 11 at 1:51 pm.
Thus, Bahadir Dzhalov became the fourth Uzbek boxer to reach the final after Hasanboy Dosmatov (51 kg), Razizbek Mulokhonov (92 kg) and Asadkhodja Modinkhodjayev (71 kg). Another boxer, Abdumalik Khalokov, has not yet participated in the semifinals.
