7. “If you are stressed and fatigued, rest is very important,” says Gopal. Sitting too much means blood pools in the lower body. Raising your legs above the level of your heart allows blood to flow back to the brain. You can simply lie on your back and put your feet on the couch or chair. This will help your body a lot in stressful situations.
