Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott announced the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art facility.
The state-of-the-art center will serve as an early voting location and mail-in ballot drop-off site, marking a significant improvement to the community’s electoral process by providing a more convenient and secure environment for voters.
The new facility features modern voting technology, expanded office space, and enhanced security measures. It is designed to improve the efficiency and transparency of the electoral process. The office will be open for early voting and currently serves as a convenient drop-off point for mail-in ballots. The facility will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will provide services such as voter registration and voting information updates.
“The opening of this new facility is a significant step forward for our community in terms of transparency in our election process,” said Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott. “It not only enhances our ability to administer the election process, but also provides a convenient, secure location for early voting and ballot drop-off. We are committed to ensuring every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.”
A grand opening event will be held on August 9, 2024, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks from local officials and tours of the new facility.
