As MPs debate how exactly the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) should be spent by MPs, Blantyre South MP Noel Lipipa on Friday launched the construction of the Manase/Manyowe Bridge.
The project, financed by the Lottery Club with DM24 million and the CDF with DM44.7 million, demonstrates his commitment to improving infrastructure and the quality of life of his people. Element.
“By addressing critical needs like this, we not only connect communities, but also pave the way for further growth and opportunity,” he said.
Lipippa expressed his gratitude to the Lottery Club for the additional funds, while he went on to challenge local people, saying they should always demand from their leaders how development funds are used.
He added that he will never stop talking to different partners to help improve the people of his constituency because he believes leadership is a calling to serve.
Lipipa has initiated several developments in the area, including the Manase clinic which opened in July.
