“We increased the price paid for 684 medical items by 40%”

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan shared a post on his social media X account regarding the health implementation bulletin published in the resumed publication of the Official Gazette.

“We provided 1 billion 975 million Turkish liras for improvements”

Minister Ishikhan said in his speech:

*“With the repeated publication of the Health Implementation Communiqué in the Official Gazette, we have implemented an important improvement for citizens with general health insurance.

* We increased the prices paid by Social Security for 684 medical items by 40%.

* In addition, we are increasing the monthly cash payment for sunscreens used to treat protein metabolism disorders, celiac disease, xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) and albinism by 40%.

* Through regulation we will increase 1 billion 975 million Turkish liras. ”
