The National Meteorological Agency (ANM) has issued a yellow warning for rain and atmospheric instability in 10 counties of Romania, valid until Tuesday morning. Even the country’s capital is not immune to the bad weather. The bad weather warning is valid from 6:00 pm on August 5 to 10:00 am on August 6.
During this period, the counties of Maramureș, Bistrica-Nesod, Mures, Brașov, Covasna, Harghita, Suceava, Botoșani, as well as parts of Neamș and Bacau counties are under a yellow alert for atmospheric instability, accompanied by heavy rains, electrical discharges, intensified winds and isolated hail.
The amount of water varies between 15 and 25 l/m2, and in some areas the amount of water accumulation may exceed 30-40 l/m2.

What’s the weather like in Bucharest?
In Bucharest, the weather forecast shows that the sky will be temporarily cloudy with possible showers and lightning in the second half of the night. The wind will be light to moderate, with a minimum temperature of 17 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Atmospheric instability will also increase in other parts of the mountainous region and in the southeast of the country on Tuesday, the ANM reported.
