televisionBarbados Meteorological Service (BMS) A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the island.
According to BMS, unstable conditions caused by the tropical wave are producing significant thunderstorm activity. This activity is expected to affect the islands throughout the early evening.
Forecasters advise that lightning activity at or near your location could result in power outages if lightning strikes electrical infrastructure. BMS reminds the public that lightning strikes can be life-threatening.
