Radio Republic Indonesia (RRI) recently hosted 12 students from the Depok State Institute of Science, Technology and Business, majoring in Broadcasting and Visual Communication Design.

The event is designed to expand students’ knowledge of the working world, foster interest in media careers, expose them to career opportunities and insights as well as industry trends, and allow them to see first-hand how what they learn in the classroom can be applied in the real world.

During the visit, the students gained an in-depth understanding of the history and development of RRI and visited several studios including Pro 1, Pro 2, and Pro 4.

Eleventh grade student Rachel Nisi said of the visit: “Don’t underestimate the world of radio, especially now with RRI Digital, which can be listened to anywhere.”
