Bahman 1402 On 20, the body of a young man was found in the parking lot of a building in western Tehran, and neighbors reported the news to the police emergency center 110. The investigation team rushed to the scene and found the body of a 25-year-old man, saying that the cause of death was unknown, and the body had been sent to the forensic doctor for a more detailed examination and to determine the exact cause of death.
After conducting toxicology and pathology tests on the body, forensic experts announced that the young man was likely dead due to brain damage caused by being hit on the head with a hard object.
Therefore, a team of the most experienced detectives from the 10th Intelligence Department of the Greater Tehran Police Department took action and as a first step, by checking the CCTV cameras of the streets around the victim’s house, they realized that the victim was driving aggressively before reaching the parking lot and was driving erratically.
In this branch of the investigation, the Crime Squad took an intelligence approach and using modern crime detection methods, they discovered that the young man had been having a date with a young woman with whom he had been in a relationship before his death, in the car park of his house.
On receiving this important information, the sleuths of Intelligence Directorate 10, after obtaining necessary judicial permissions, immediately went to the house of the young woman and in a coordinated operation arrested the sole accused in the case.
During the investigation, the young woman openly admitted her crime and expressed remorse, explaining the events as follows: “I met the victim online some time ago and we had established a relationship. On the day of the incident, he came to my house. We had an argument about our wedding plans and at one point I lost control and hit him on the head with the hookah cup.
The defendant said: After this confrontation, the young man got into his car and went to his home. A few hours later, I also found him dead. I was scared, so I didn’t share this with anyone. I’m sorry, I don’t want to get blood on my hands.
The legal proceedings in the case are continuing as the judicial authorities issued a legal order for the defendant to be transferred to the Tenth Directorate of Greater Tehran Intelligence Police to clarify the hidden aspects of the case, Tasnim reported, according to the Fourth Branch of the Criminal Prosecution Office.
