The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abroad, Regional Cooperation and Burkina Faso expressed outrage over a propaganda video of the Ukrainian army posted on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Embassy in Dakar.
The video explicitly supports the terrorist group that attacked the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) in Tinzaouatne, northern Mali from July 25 to 27, 2024.
Burkina Faso strongly condemned the apology for terrorism and recalled the urgent need to combat this scourge globally. He called on the international community, especially African countries, to condemn these subversive actions that threaten the stability of the continent.
Burkina Faso reiterated its support for the Malian armed forces and recalled the importance of non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign States. He urged Ukraine to work together to end all support for terrorist organizations that threaten international peace and security.
