A forest fire that broke out in the Antakya region of Hatay is being put out.
A fire broke out in the forest area of Uzunarichi District, the cause of which is unknown.
After receiving the notification, the District Forest Department, Metropolitan Fire Department, 4 helicopters, 2 fire-fighting aircraft, 20 water tankers, 9 ambulances, 5 water tankers and operating machinery were dispatched to the area.
Teams are continuing to intervene to control the fire.
Strong winds in the area made the team’s work difficult.
