(LPL) — Mayor Paul Young hosted John Hope Bryant, founder, president and CEO of the nonprofit Operation HOPE, for a community meeting to discuss the American Business Plan, a roadmap to increase financial literacy, promote financial dignity and empowerment, and promote American economic strength and global competitiveness, on Tuesday, July 30 at the Cossett Public Library.
John Hope Bryant presented his book, Financial Literacy for Everyone, a powerful resource for everyday Americans looking to build a stronger financial future, with a presentation focused on what citizens and businesses in and around Memphis can do to improve their financial literacy. This included existing challenges and potential opportunities through enhanced financial education and access to resources for homeownership, small business, and generational wealth creation.
