Dean Boddy identified as Tabernacle shooting victim

ST. KITTS AND NEVIS (WINN) — Dean Boddie has been identified as the victim of the August 1, 2024, shooting at Tabernacle Village.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force responded to reports of shots fired around 10:25 p.m.

According to preliminary investigations, Bodie was walking across a playground near Tabernacle Elementary School around 10 p.m. when an assailant shot him several times.

Bodie managed to flee the area and collapsed near the school.

He was taken to Joseph N. France General Hospital, where he is currently being treated. Bodie is reportedly in critical but stable condition.

The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force is asking for the public’s assistance with its investigation.

Police said Dean Boddie died at 2:05 p.m. on August 2, 2024. Police are currently conducting a homicide investigation.
