Kuwait City, August 3: A Kuwaiti citizen and a domestic worker had an argument, with each accusing the other of wrongdoing. The citizen reported that gold had been stolen from his home, while the domestic worker claimed that the citizen’s wife had beaten her and provided medical reports as evidence. The case was classified as theft and assault.
It is understood that the citizen accused the maid of stealing gold worth 150 dinars, a rosary and an amulet worth 850 dinars. In response, the maid denied the theft but claimed that she was severely beaten and submitted a medical report to support her claim. The case has been referred to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
