Sanem citizen initiative group BIGS issued a press release criticizing Kronospan for building the warehouse without approval.

The timber company is said to have planned to build the warehouse without approval. BIGS has called on municipalities to stop the construction.

The citizens’ initiative has already expressed its opposition in writing to the Ministry of Economy, which has now confirmed the existence of a case involving an incinerator that has been put into operation despite the fact that the approval process has not yet been completed.

The non-profit organisation BIGS called on the minister to support the cessation of all illegal activities of Kronospan in the Gadderscheier industrial estate and asked that their concerns be taken into account in future projects.
