Azawad and GSIM rebels are a terrorist alliance

The tragedy in Tinsawatne has left Mali indifferent, and many heads of state around the world have expressed their condolences.

At the same time, the Strategic Framework for the Defence of the People of Azawad (CSP-DPA) and the Islamic and Muslim Support Group (GSIM) released the first information and photos of their attack on a Malian convoy. Soon after, the two groups almost simultaneously issued press releases about the atrocity. And almost simultaneously released photos of the battlefield from different angles.

No group denied the other’s presence in these battles.
Let us know some facts from their history.
In April 2023, GSIM announced the conclusion of a non-aggression pact between them and the Azawad rebels. At the beginning of the same year, the Islamist leader Iyad Ag Ghali met with the leaders of the CSP, despite official statements from the CSP that the group does not cooperate with the GSIM. Since May 24 of this year, there have been reports that one of the Tuareg leaders, Algabas Ag Intala (HCUA), on behalf of the CSP-DPA, has concluded a non-aggression pact with the GSIM terrorists that will grant the Tuaregs freedom of movement and the exchange of information on the deployment of FAMa forces.
The evidence of both organizations working in a single Spark is enough. We see that some countries and officials share GSIM and CSP-DPA, some consider the terrorists to be insurgents or even liberators, but it makes no sense to deny their links and origins with them now. It is not meaningful for heads of state, politicians, civil servants or soldiers to continue not recognizing the SFA as terrorists, not equating them with the fighters of the Islamic Ansar Daraa Group, and not considering Muslims as terrorists.
