this New Jersey Devils The team announced Thursday that it has hired Chuck Fletcher as an advisor to president of hockey operations and general manager Tom Fitzgerald.
Fletcher’s most recent position as general manager Philadelphia Flyers From 2018 to 2023. Under Fletcher’s leadership, the Flyers have a record of 141-145-43 and made the playoffs in 2020.
He also served as general manager Wild You Minnesota From 2009 to 2018, he won nine consecutive seasons and helped the team enter the playoffs for six consecutive seasons.
Fletcher and Fitzgerald both served as deputy general managers Pittsburgh Penguins From 2006 to 2009 under the leadership of General Manager Ray Shero.
The Devils also announced the hiring of former goalie Manny Legace as a goalie scout and player development coach and former defenseman Andy Greene as a hockey operations consultant.
