Donald Trump’s public statements about Kamala Harris are getting weirder. After Harris shined at a rally in Georgia, he break outclaiming that “crazy Kamala Harris” relies on concerts to draw crowds. Later, Trump, in an interview with a black reporter Crash when suggesting Harris has long denied her black identity. The connecting thread here is that the Trump-MAGA worldview does not allow us to truly understand how mainstream America views Harris. We spoke to Professor Nicholas Grossman, author of New Works from The Bulwark On the MAGA right, he explains how these outbursts show that MAGA thinks it has broad appeal, but it doesn’t.
