Tesla to recall 1.8 million vehicles in the U.S.

US electric car maker Tesla will recall 1.8 million vehicles due to a software problem that prevents it from detecting whether the hood of some vehicles is open.

NHTSA, the U.S. road safety regulator, noted that the problem also applies to Model Y vehicles produced between 2020 and 2024, and announced that Tesla shared a software update online to address the problem.

He had remembered it before

On February 2, Tesla recalled approximately 2.2 million vehicles in the United States due to incorrect font size of warning lights.

The company also announced last month that it would recall most of its Cybertrucks in the country due to issues with windshield wipers and exterior trim parts.
