Ma Long from Ecuador Chifuji Vera will once again be in the Octagon, hoping to crack the top 5. The bout will take place this Saturday (August 3) at UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Vera is back on the scene after losing to Sean O’Malley at UFC 299 last March, so a fight with the Brazilian would be the beginning of a path to another title shot in the category of choice.

Manabita’s opponent is Brazilian Deiveson Alcantara Figueiredo, a former flyweight champion who is striving to become one of the top fighters in the bantamweight division.

Both fighters will be part of a special undercard for that evening’s main fight between Corey Sandhagen and Omar Nurmagomedov.
