Ambassador Richelle Turner is pleased to welcome Ms Tegan Long to the Australian Embassy in the Republic of Palau for the next three weeks. Ms Long is in Palau to assist the Embassy with the presentation of Yiwarra Kuju: The Canning Stock Route. The Yiwarra Kuju exhibition features stories and artworks by established and emerging Australian artists and traditional custodians of Australia’s Western Desert.

Over the next two weeks, Ms Long and embassy staff will visit primary schools in Barberdoab and Koror to take students through exhibitions, tell stories about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and run activities.

“As a proud Arawa woman, I look forward to sharing my Aboriginal culture with students through the Yiwarra Kuju exhibit. I am also excited to learn about Palauan culture during my visit,” said Ms. Long.

Join us in welcoming Tegan to the pristine paradise of Palau!
