On July 29, China Media Group and the United Nations Tourism Department signed a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of cultural and tourism news reporting, tourism brand promotion, and media activities in Madrid, Spain.
Shen Haixiong, Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and Director of China Media Group, and Zorica Urošević, Executive Director of the United Nations Tourism Affairs, jointly witnessed the signing of the memorandum.
Qi Zhuquan, editor-in-chief and director of the International Communication Bureau, and Becca Jacquely, director of external relations of the United Nations Tourism, exchanged memorandums of understanding on behalf of both parties. Yao Jing, Chinese ambassador to Spain, attended the signing ceremony.
