Standard Bank of India expects profit

Standard Bank of Botswana, Botswana’s third most profitable commercial bank, announced that it expects pre-tax profit for the six months ending June 30, 2024 to be 40% to 50% higher than pre-tax profit for the six months ending June 30, 2023.

The bank expects the increase to be P116 million to P145 million higher than the pre-tax profit of P290 million reported for the half year ending June 30, 2023.
