Data from Nielsen Korea showed that the badminton mixed doubles and women’s singles matches broadcast by MBC on the 27th topped the ratings, with the mixed doubles match between Seo Seung-jae and Chae Yoo-jung having a viewership of 2.0% and the women’s singles match between Kim Ga-eun having a viewership of 3.5%.

Announcer Kim Dae-ho, who was selected as the commentator for the badminton competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics, has attracted much attention. His debut was a brilliant commentary with Olympic gold medalist Soo Soo-hyun during the women’s singles and mixed doubles competitions.
