According to Tabnak’s report Cited from ISNA، Amir Tajlinia, speaking about holding reselection exams in all cities, regions and districts of the country and creating opportunities for students to obtain quotas for admission to academic fields, said: The 18th Student Representative Conference was held on August 3, and all members of the Education Steering Committee were present.
He added: One of the most important issues raised in this meeting is the decision on issuing licenses for holding re-election tests in all cities, regions and districts of the country.
Tejalinia said: Considering that some students do not meet the conditions for admission to specific fields and areas in the educational guidelines and are applying for the field, a new opportunity has been created for this group of students and it has been decided to hold a field selection test. Rise again in this meeting.
He pointed out: It was decided at this meeting that the re-examination and follow-up examinations in all cities, districts and regions should be held simultaneously.
Tejalinia added: School counsellors should guide students and their parents and fill in the examination registration form to redefine the field of study.
He clarified: After taking this test, if students obtain the desired grades in the relevant courses, new study guides will be issued to students.
He said: Considering that many students who apply for a change of major hope to enter private schools, and the capacity of these schools in most parts of the country is usually not enough, therefore, according to the educational guidelines, all localities should carry out the enrollment of private schools. The re-designated examination applies to all disciplines and research fields.
He added: Of course, the guidance makes it clear that obtaining the required quorum is a necessary condition for access to the field, but a sufficient condition would be the existence of vacant capacity in that field in the district, so school counselors and administrators should not make the case for student capacity to act.
According to the report of the Vice-Rector for Education and Culture, Public Relations and International Affairs, Tejalinia, while thanking all the administrators, counselors and experts for carrying out the last step of the academic advising process, expressed the hope that by providing the best academic advising services for students, it will be witnessed that their guidance on subjects and fields of study should be adapted to the conditions of each student.
