Yesterday it was reported that the defender was set to join West Ham United. However, the exchange seems to have fallen short. Bayern and West Ham have reached an agreement but have failed to negotiate with the player himself.
This is certainly good news for Manchester United, who are also after Mazraoui, and now the club are said to be in talks with the player himself.
Bayern accepted West Ham’s offer of £13 million plus performance-related bonuses to be paid later, so it can be assumed that Manchester United will have to pay a similar amount.
