Flow takes center stage as title sponsor of Grand Kadooment

televisionTelecom giant Flow has been revealed as the title sponsor of this year’s mega event Cropping festival, Big Cadument.

The official announcement was made Thursday at the vibrant Pelican Craft Village, where Marilyn Sealy, senior director and head of communications for the cable and wireless communications company, said the company was excited to be a part of Cropping 50th Anniversary Celebration.

“Flow has long been a strong supporter of Barbadian arts, culture and traditions, and we recognise the profound importance of celebrating our rich traditions and highlighting the vibrant spirit of our people,” said Seeley, highlighting the telecommunications company’s long-standing support for Barbadian culture and the creative arts.

“This year, we are particularly pleased to be working with the National Cultural Foundation to present Big CadumentThe event is a highlight for many – a day filled with colorful parades, enchanting music and a celebration of our cultural heritage. Carol Roberts, CEO of the National Cultural Foundation (NCF), stressed the importance of sponsors such as Flow to the success of the festival, saying that it was due to the tireless efforts of sponsors and stakeholders that the festival achieved its high quality.

“Last year was a watershed moment and this year promises to be an unprecedented moment with more events than we can handle. These events are only possible because of a dedicated group of government agencies and private companies working together,” Roberts noted.

While acknowledging that not every event will go off without a hitch, Roberts assured attendees that the overall experience remains enjoyable thanks to the hard work of a small but passionate team.
