Guatemala – The Reds and Creams will face off in a formal match abroad.
The Guatemalan National League, after completing the procedures to fulfill the above commitments, officially announced that the Municipal and Communications teams will participate in the National Classic of the United States.
The match was organized by Banrural and after some doubts, the National Federation approved the match, so the match between the winner of the 2023 Apertura Championship and the winner of the 2024 Clausura Championship will be official.

The Reds and Creams will face off on Sunday, September 15 at BMO Field in Los Angeles, California, where they will play the Independence Bowl in the best possible style of the Super Bowl.
The tournament was launched in the presence of the presidents of the two clubs (Gerardo Villa and Juan García), and the trophy was presented, which featured a white nun and a ball next to it.
Finally, regarding the 2024 Apertura Championship, this event falls on the seventh day, so the calendar will be modified again due to the rescheduling of the scarlet and albo teams.
