Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a one-hour speech to the U.S. Congress at the invitation of U.S. congressional leaders.
Benjamin Netanyahu thanked US President Joe Biden for his support to the United States during the ongoing Gaza offensive since October 7 and called him a “brilliant Zionist”.
Netanyahu claimed that the claims that civilians were being killed in Gaza were “false”, asserting that “despite all the lies one hears, non-combat civilian casualties in Gaza are the lowest compared to combatants in the history of urban warfare”.
Netanyahu said he visited Rafah last week and held meetings with army commanders, and when asked how many civilians had been killed there, he claimed he got the answer that no one had been killed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s nearly hour-long speech drew standing ovations from members of Congress at the end of each sentence.
