Pago Pago, American Samoa— U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jeremiah Alexander Alefosio, of Auto Village, will take over as commander of Space Force Vandenberg in Santa Barbara, California. The chain of command ceremony will be held on July 27, 2024. He just completed a year-long deployment to Jordan. He is stationed in Germany with his family, wife Jeneyl and sons Jake, Josh and Jayce.
Lt. Col. Alefusio is a 1999 graduate of Fagaitua High School. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He joined the Air Force after earning a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
