MEMPHIS, Tenn. (LPL) – Authorities announced a person with burns was found inside a vehicle seized at Weaver and Tully streets.
Firefighters were called to the vehicle fire, and after extinguishing the blaze, they photographed the wreckage and took it to the city’s impounded car lot.
Authorities said that because the incident occurred at night, the interior of the car was soaked by water and it was impossible to see what was going on inside.
On the morning of Monday, July 22, two days after the vehicle was taken to a downtown parking lot, a charred body was found that, according to the Horn Lake, Mississippi, Police Department, corresponds to young Jaderius Webb, who was reported missing.
Medical expert examiners have yet to identify the body found inside the burned vehicle, according to a statement.
