Seven major labor unions sent a letter to Joe Biden on Tuesday, calling on the president to “immediately cease all military aid to Israel.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to address a joint session of Congress and hold private talks with Biden, Kamala Harris and other politicians.
The unions that signed the letter represent six million people and include the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA), the American Postal Workers Union (APWU), the International Union of Painters, the National Education Association (NEA), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the United Auto Workers (UAW) and the United Electrical Workers.
