The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, wrote on his X account that yesterday’s Constitutional Court session showed the total devastation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dodik said that “those who seek to impose this policy by force have lost all criteria for legal action”.
– Usually, people think that the Constitutional Court should be a legal institution, but it has long become a political institution. The decision to cancel everything shows that they have lost their way and are incapable of defending Dayton Bosnia, that is, the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dodik stressed that they are the creators of the new Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the interests of only one nation, and they will obviously lose this battle.
Dodik noted that “Republika Srpska has long made clear its position in the Constitutional Court and will act accordingly.”
– The fact that they accepted the job and violated their own rules that only domestic judges can be presidents and vice-presidents of the court collapsed yesterday when a German citizen became vice-president of the Constitutional Court. What they have done is completely unenforceable and should be considered unenforceable. This is typical evidence of the collapse of the Dayton Agreement,” Dodik said.
He also warned that “it has been a long time since international factors such as the Constitutional Court made a decision to overturn the Dayton Agreement.”
