The price of cryptocurrency bitcoin rose above $67,000 after a global software issue did not affect the cryptocurrency network.
Data from analytics firm Coinmarketcap showed that the value of the global cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, increased by more than 4.7% in 24 hours to $2.44 trillion.
Analysts said the rise in prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies was due to the fact that the cryptocurrency network was not affected by the global software problems that emerged after the system outage of cybersecurity company CrowdStrike, which boosted investor confidence.
On the other hand, the increased expectations about the possibility of winning the presidential election following the assassination of former U.S. President Donald Trump, who made positive comments about the cryptocurrency market, is also said to have had a positive impact on the cryptocurrency market.
As of 23:00, Bitcoin has risen by nearly 5.9% in the past 24 hours to $67,062.
Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has risen 3.1% over the past 24 hours to $300,507.
