On Sunday afternoon, Museumstrikken went off the rails at the Magnus Barfots gate.

– Carl August Harbitz-Rasmussen, chairman of Bergen Elektriske Sporvei, explained that there was a foreign object in the track, which caused the tram to go off the track.

He accepted it all with great calmness.

– In the past, Bergen cowboys would leave soda bottles and everything on the track.

Harbitz Rasmussen says the tram is great

– We just need to get it back on track, but it weighs a few kilos.

Now they are waiting for help from the Vikings.

– If you call them, they will say press 1 for passenger cars and 2 for trucks, but not for trams, the Chairman said with a smile.

Habitz Rasmussen believes that in a worst-case scenario it could take hours for the trams to get back on track. But it will get there.

– Trams always run on the tracks, much to the delight of the children in Bergen.
