The Mineral Resources Administration (MRA) has awarded land prizes to 18 employees who have served the agency for 15 consecutive years.
According to MRA, these allotments are fully furnished residential plots with an area of 450 to 500 square metres.
The MRA purchased a total of 49 plots of land in 2022 under its National Home Ownership Program.
This week, Mr Jerry Garry, Managing Director of MRA, awarded 18 allotments from a total of 49 to 18 employees.
Four of them will be used to build institutional premises, and the rest will be given in the next few years to employees who have worked for the organization for 15 years.
The organization aims to attract and retain capable employees through housing and other policies.
Mr Gary noted that this was a milestone as employees deserved to be rewarded for their service and outstanding performance.
He assured all staff that they would be given the opportunity to own land or live in institutional housing.
