Cambodia has welcomed 60 baby Siamese crocodiles, setting a record for the endangered species’ hatching this century, conservationists say.

After more than 20 years of work, reptile populations in the remote Kadam Mountains have recovered in what they call a “real sign of hope”.

This olive green freshwater reptile – which had a distinct bony crown at the back of its head – is estimated to have grown up to 3 meters, or nearly 10 feet.
