KOROR, Palau – July 16, 2024 – Customs and Border Protection is pleased to announce the addition of four new Customs Officers: Joyah Nigraiwet, Dawn Surech Kemesong, Lynette Ikesakes, and Carter Ngiralbong. Carter Ngiralbong previously served as a Biosecurity Officer and has transitioned to a new role as a Customs Officer. Also participating in the swearing-in ceremony was Robert Tarkong, Director of the Corporate Services Division.
The new appointments come just one month after these three officers were sworn in. These strategic hires and promotions reflect the Bureau’s commitment to strengthening border security and will significantly enhance our efforts to maintain a secure border and improve efficiency.
The addition of these officers will provide much-needed support to our team, ensuring we continue to effectively achieve Customs and Border Protection’s security goals. We are confident that these new officers will bring valuable skills and dedication to their work, helping us to more effectively protect our border.
