5. Don’t close all the blinds
This is the first sign that burglars know you’re not there. Experts recommend keeping blinds down on windows that have TVs, computers or other valuable equipment, and fully or partially open blinds on kitchen and bathroom windows. This will give the illusion that you’re home.
6. Turn off electrical equipment
Don’t forget to turn off the TV, various players, computers, washing machines, dishes and stoves when you go on vacation.
7. Keep your pets well cared for
Sometimes we just can’t take our pets on vacation. In that case, we have to find someone who can take good care of them.
