Muscat: Kenya’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) on Tuesday announced that it will implement the first phase of its crackdown on hidden trade in Muscat Governorate, South Batinah and Dhofar regions.
“In order to combat hidden trade activities in Oman and limit its economic impact on business owners and communities, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion announced the implementation of the first phase of the resolution to combat hidden trade, but the first phase will include inspections of business activities in Muscat, North Batinah and Dhofar governorates,” the ministry said in a statement.
