On July 18, Kyrgyz President Japarov and his wife paid a state visit to Uzbekistan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife greeted them at Tashkent International Airport Reporting Press Office of the Head of State.
To welcome the guests, the national flags of the two countries were raised and the guard of honor lined up to welcome them. According to the visit plan, the two sides will hold high-level talks to discuss further developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
After the summit, a number of large-scale joint projects are expected to be launched and important bilateral documents signed. The visit will continue on July 19.
Kyrgyz President Press Conference clarifythe state visit activities will be held in Tashkent and Khiva.
