Two 12-gauge rifles and an Uzi submachine gun were seized
On Sunday, July 14, following an armed clash between special forces of the Haitian National Police (PNH) and individuals operating in Casso (Port-au-Prince), the PNH seized three firearms, including two 12-gauge rifles and an Uzi submachine gun, 7.62 caliber bullets, two mobile phones and a bag containing a substance similar to marijuana.
Tabarre: 22 hand pumps installed
Twenty-two hand pumps were installed in Tabar to increase water supply. In addition, nearly 50 community technicians were trained in future water outages and maintenance. IOM is grateful to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID-Haiti) Office of Humanitarian Assistance, which makes these daily operations possible.
