Heavy rains and floods in many provinces of Afghanistan have killed at least two people
The Taliban’s Disaster Management Department said on Monday that Bamiyan, Maidan Wardak, Panjshir, Kapisa, Kunar and Paktia provinces had experienced heavy rains and flooding in recent days.
The ministry said at least three people were injured and dozens of farmlands and homes were destroyed.
Parts of Afghanistan suffered from floods this year, with heavy rains and floods killing 300 people in Baghlan province alone.
