Libreville, Tuesday, July 16, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The Minister of Commerce, Small and Medium Enterprises and Small Enterprises, in charge of income-generating activities, received last Monday in Libreville a delegation of the Salon de la Femme association, led by its president, Sidonie Flore Ouwé.
Perfecte Amouyane Ollame Divassa and her hosts discussed income generating activities (IGAs), in particular the technical and financial support provided by the Ministry to fishery cooperatives.
For this construction with marelles, canoes and other facilities, government help is necessary. According to the promoters of the cooperative, this support will allow them to face certain difficulties.
In response to this question, the government member stressed the importance of holding working meetings with the management of small and medium-sized enterprises to study solutions suitable for the problems raised by these women entrepreneurs.
The Salon de la Femme, which supports the cooperative, is determined to deliver on its promise. For years, the association has been working to popularize legal texts. It is also committed to promoting women’s autonomy and has about a hundred members.
