Hong Kong will host a Sardine Festival in late August, an event that will “celebrate Portuguese culture,” according to the Chinese administrative region’s official tourism page.
According to the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s page, the festival will be held from August 29 to September 1 in the city center.
In addition to grilled sardines, highlights of the Hong Kong tour include “live music by Lisbon’s best DJs, wine tastings, souvenirs, traditional Portuguese food” and “guided port wine tours.” Fado singer Cuca Roseta is scheduled to perform in Macau on August 29 and August 31, according to her website.
